Overview
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) describe how you may use the Pennyworth Liquidations website and the services we provide, including online auctions, liquidation, estate support, consignments, and donations. By using this site, registering to bid, placing a bid, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.
Pennyworth Liquidations is located at 3225 FM 2001, Suites 603 and 604, Satterwhite South, Buda, TX 78610-3784. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Pennyworth Liquidations; “you” means the visitor, bidder, consignor, donor, or client engaging with us.
Auctions & Bidding
Online auctions are conducted on the BidHarbor platform at bid.pennyworth.auction. Registration and bidding take place on that platform, and all bidding activity is subject to the platform’s own terms, account rules, and closing procedures in addition to these Terms.
- Registration is required before placing a bid.
- A bid is an offer to purchase at the bid amount.
- Lot descriptions, condition notes, and closing times are shown on each lot.
- Items are offered in their existing condition unless a listing states otherwise.
- The platform’s record of bids and closing time governs the outcome.
- We may correct listing errors, withdraw a lot, or cancel a bid where needed.
To the extent these Terms and the BidHarbor platform terms differ, the platform terms control matters of account access, bidding mechanics, and lot closing.
Payment
Payment for won lots is due as stated on the auction and on the BidHarbor platform. Applicable taxes and any platform or buyer fees are calculated and shown at checkout. Title to an item passes once payment has cleared in full. Items are not released for pickup until payment is complete.
Pickup & Removal
Won items are collected locally in Buda, TX during posted pickup hours. Pickup operates on business-day windows:
- Standard window: 3 business days from the close of the auction.
- Pennyworth Plus window: up to 7 business days, where those terms apply.
- Sundays are excluded from business-day counts.
- Bring your confirmation and a way to load and transport your items.
Items not collected within the applicable window may be treated as abandoned and may be relisted, donated, or otherwise disposed of, and any payment may be forfeited. Please contact us before your window closes if you need to make arrangements.
Consignment & Liquidation
Consignment and liquidation engagements are governed by separate, signed agreements that set out commission or fee structures, timelines, settlement terms, and responsibilities for the specific property involved. Those signed agreements control the relationship for that engagement and take precedence over these general Terms where they address the same matter. To begin a conversation, please request a consignment review or inquire about liquidation services.
Donations
Donated goods are accepted at our discretion and as described on our Donations page. We are not able to provide valuations for donated property, and we do not offer tax, legal, or financial advice. For any tax treatment of a donation, please consult a qualified tax advisor. To offer goods, please submit a donation inquiry.
Limitation of Liability
The site and our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, participation in auctions, or engagement of our services. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the site or our services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
